Erika Beatty (Founder / Project Lead / Consultant)

I produce projects, manage change, and guide creative organizations.

I am known for strategic integration of new ideas and technology, creating collaborative partnerships and teams that excel, and developing organizations with good governance, sound strategy and sustainable finances. Following a 20 year career as chief executive of Canadian symphony orchestras (and thanks to a Canada Council for the Arts John Hobday Award) I shifted to supporting content creation and the creative industries. Clients have included Anhinga Films ("GreenRights"), Handful of Films, and Screen Nova Scotia, who I led through an ambitious process that resulted in the creation of a new, member-driven provincial film commission. I have national non-profit board experience and have represented clients at international markets and events and look forward to continuing to work with interesting people, solving challenging problems, and building creative opportunities.

Lucy White (Project Lead and Non-Profit Interim Leadership)

I am a skilled cultural executive with a strategic, creative, and collaborative approach that achieves superior results for my clients. I am known for outstanding analytical, communication and relationship building skills that I bring to my assignments as interim executive director for non-profit organizations and when consulting. As a principle with The Osborne Group, my work has focused primarily in strategic planning, governance, organization and membership development and facilitation of small and large groups. Recent arts and culture clients include Royal Academy of Dance Canada,  ArtsBuild Ontario, Toronto Arts Council and Toronto Arts Foundation, Artist Run Centres and Collectives of Ontario (ARCCO), Opera.ca, and REEL Canada.

Before moving to consulting, I was executive director of a charitable social enterprise in the mental health sector and of a national arts service organization for theatre companies, as well as associate director of a national copyright management organization. I have served in a voluntary capacity as President of the Board of Theatre Smith-Gilmour, Secretary of the Board of Arts Consultants Canada and Treasurer of Art of Time Ensemble. I was a founder of the Canadian Arts Coalition and the Performing Arts Alliance, served on the National Steering Committee for Culture Days, was a Director of the Cultural Human Resources Council and sat on the Advisory Committee of Artsbuild Ontario.
